Julia Germeroth is a comic, actor, writer, director, and producer.
On stage, she performs character and sketch comedy at The Upright Citizens Brigade, The Second City, The Groundlings Theater, and more. Co-founder and performer with Back Pocket Comedy, a character-comedy show directed by John Milhiser (SNL), had a sold out run at Hollywood Fringe Festival and current residency at UCB and The Pack Theater. You can catch her stand up on stages such as The Ice House, The Comedy Store, Flappers Comedy Club, and The Comedy Chateau, where she won the Audience Pick for Best Comic at WXMAN’S Night 4C Comedy Contest.
On screen, you may have caught her in NBC’s Chicago Fire, “Grace” in No Way Around It, or “Sister Mary” in The Wandering Room.
Germeroth has directed theater productions of Another Christmas Story (Bold Theater), and directed/developed new works such as Monster in the Closet (Broadwater Theater). She is currently working and based in Los Angelas, focusing on development and production of new comedic work.
She also worked at a zoo once, but we don’t have the time.
